   This is a premium-quality match-up – Savage and Piper – a long-running program/feud with these 2 would have been great, as they both had great in-ring psychology and despite Piper’s rep as merely a brawler, he was actually quite skilled in the ring too, but WWF writers never really let him show that – he could have had great matches with Savage – too bad it never really materialized.

   Savage is my 3rd all time favorite wrestler. This is actually one of my favorite Piper matches. Savages matches in WWF or WCW were always exciting he would excel in any era of wrestling.

   great pro wrestlers, though ironically I doubt either could do any actual greco-roman wrestling. They don’t have entertainers like this in WWE. Too bad these two didn’t take care of themselves and now their life style has caught up with them.

   Ever since WCW was sold to WWE wrestling has gone down the drain. Today is just about Cena, Cena and Cena nobody else.

   TNA might never be in the same level WCW was. The only difference is that WCW had a Ted Turner and TNA doesnt.

   If you notice at every RAW the first 15-20 minutes is just blah blah blah, match 5 minutes and then another 15 minutes of more blah.

   But this match I wonder why Vince never had a major story line between Savage and Piper.

   Good days of wrestling gone forever
